My new favorite Linux Distribution -- yes, Domino runs well on it.
By Andrew Pollack on 04/14/2006 at 01:34 PM EDTLast week I came across CENTOS, which is a Linux distribution extremely similar to Red Hat Enterprise Linux in all respects other than a subscription cost. CENTOS is supported entirely by its community. It took me about 1/2 hour to download the DVD via torrent, and installation into my vmware server was flawless.
Testing so far has yielded not a single flaw in this distribution. Domino installs on it without any configuration issues and all worked perfectly. I'm very impressed with CentOS and will use it from now on.
