Tom Duff sent me a book he wrote about on his blog. The content is right up my alley.
Its a solid technical look at how hardware interfaces are used. It is a strange thing, because there are some topics in there that are really old hat -- the software side of the interfaces and communication protocols in particular. Some of the hardware I'm fairly comfortable with as well. I'm not exactly new to the use of a soldering iron. Then there are places where the content is totally new. I've never built a digital circuit or worked directly with a microcontroller at all. It looks like a lot of fun. I have a bunch of projects in mind that I've always wanted to try out. Now, if I can just find some time somewhere....
Thanks Tom!
