Christmas purchase limits -- and a common misconception
By Andrew Pollack on 12/26/2005 at 05:33 PM ESTMost people take it for a given that if you and your wife agree on a limit for spending on each other, that you mean it to be the top end of the scale. I, on the other hand, choose to view it as a bottom end limit, and shop accordingly. As such, each year I am easily able to keep within this limit as I purchase the things I think Barb should have. I am also quite able to say "Yes, of course I kept to the limit." with a perfectly straight face.
As a side note -- someone better puchase some NCT Search. ;-)
