Ok, I've learned recently that mars was "Drenched", "Soaked", "Completely Soaked" and now "Wet on both sides" --- Why can we not be satisfied with "Mars had abundant flowing water in more than one place on its surface."
Drenched and Soaked both imply an excessive amount of water on something that normally wouldn't have any, and "Completely Soaked" is a term for saturation, which seems unlikely in this case.
