I've just finished the presentation for this session. They've got me scheduled to deliver it twice next week. The first time, I'm in a room set up for nearly 700 people, but at the same time as "What's new in Domino 7", "What's new in the Domino Designer 7", and "Fine Tuning Agent Performance" --Julie K's great session. Also, I'm up against the one session I really enjoy every year -- the one from IBM Research about the stuff they're looking at.
So, If you'd like to be with 10 of your closes friends in a room set for 700, seeing me try to get through 68 slides in 60 minutes -- come see this one at 1pm on Monday.
Kidding aside (I hope) -- This is either the most meat-filled or the least meat-filled session I've ever put together. I say that, because in one hour I cover pretty much everything you should be doing to have a stable and reliable domino infrastructure. Did I say 1 hour? The issue of course, is that none of it can be covered in sufficient depth that you could walk away remembering exactly what steps to take to make each part happen. I don't think anyone does that anyway though.
So, how mad are you guys going to be, if you get a minute or so talking about why you should do "x" then a very brief overview on how and a pointer or link to where the specific instructions for getting it done are?
If I pull it off, its the session that gives you a really solid feel for what you can and should do and gets you ready to go do it. If I fail, I'll get 700 surveys back that say "Where's the beef? The wheel's spinning but the hamster is dead!"
What do you guys, my 1200 closest friends, think about a session like this?

skills, I'll very likely attend. I suspect the hard part will be getting the
balance just right. You need to get enough detail in so that they'll see the
need to go to the site for the rest without putting in so much detail that you
don't time for everything.
P.S. I like it that the Consult-O-Meter goes up to 200%.
