Understanding the decision behind Connections Mail

For the last few years the reseller channel has been hearing a near constant drumbeat of promises about one feature or another in Connections "that will really drive utilization". Translated, this is saying that although our big customers have used their license entitlements to deploy connections all over the place, actual desktop users are not going there unless they have to. Even with the nonsense of "gamification" to get people in there, when it comes to getting their daily work do they don't go to Connections they go to their EMAIL to communicate. If you can move people out of the email client for email and into Connections, you make that the sticky tool.
