Scott McNealy steps down from Sun Microsystems.
By Andrew Pollack on 04/25/2006 at 08:02 AM EDTWell, Scott McNealy has stepped down as CEO of Sun Microsystems. That's big news. I don't know much about his replacement yet, though I hear he's very P.R. focused and likes to troll the Linux world for attention. The more things change, the more they stay the same I guess. Jonathan Schwartz is the new President and Chief Executive Officer at Sun.
Its no secret that I'm not a big fan of what Scott McNealy has done with Sun in the past 10 years. I hope Jonathan Schwartz has an agenda that makes more sense than frequent public initiatives with Oracle that do little other than establish clubs that Microsoft can't join.

This is not quite a scam because it's technically legal, but it's run very much like a scam. This company works with a few "clients" that have vast repositories of copyrighted images.
