I'm carrying more -- and more important -- PCMCIA cards lately. You see, the use of VMWARE (amazing tool) has pushed my laptop over the brink. My "old" Dell Inspiron 8200 has reached a point where a few of things are a bit weak. In particular the max of 1 gig of ram -- I like 2 gigs on a workstation, and the drive space isn't great. Now that I use VMWARE, I'm literally carrying around a few additional pc's -- anywhere from 4 to 12 gigabytes each. The other is the USB 1.1 ports. I needed 2.0 for the new drive.
I can't do much about the ram, as far as I know. 1gb is it for this machine. But for disk storage, Instead of replacing the drive, I have opted for this device, which will become my "virtual machine drive" -- that way my virtual machines are truly portable from my development workstation to my laptop for demos or work on the road. I like the price point at 60gb. The product comes to me well recommended.
Anyway, Now I've got 3 PCMCIA cards I'd like to protect. None are the original size. One has a long extension antenna the same thickness as the card, the USB 2.0 is about as long, but has an higher end (fortunately its far enough back that I can use the top pcmcia slot and it doesn't block the lower one) and the third has a little cell phone antenna on a hinge that sticks out.
I need a very small, reasonably rigid, and slightly padded case to toss these in and keep in my briefcase. Any ideas?
Size counts, but this time smaller is better.

It is a Case Logic iPod carrier. Assuming your cards are smaller than an iPod,
you could keep at least 2 of them in there.
