Adobe update finally stops hanging Firefox when I read PDF files on line

I've had the problem for a long time -- open a web site which is a PDF and it works, but then if you close that page or use the back button or some combination I never quite got my finger on it would hang Adobe Acrobat Reader and Firefox. It was necessary to kill the "acroread.exe" task as well as the "firefox.exe" tasks to get back to normal.
I downloaded the latest Adobe Acrobat Reader, and then within that reader use the "help" menu pull down to get the "latest updates" and am finally free of this problem. Its a small thing, but happened with enough frequency that I'm quite pleased to be done with it.
