I have to say, I'm really looking forward to having a good time at the show this year. This week I'll be working on some code demos for my "Performance Programming" session, some scary stories for Sunday's "They Really Are Out To Get You" with Gab Davis, and getting my tech-kit charged and packed for the week. I'll have time to get to karate at least twice this week as well, before missing a week while I'm in Orlando. If weather permits, I may try to find a quite place in the sand near the Swan to practice the kata I should know for my testing the week I get back.
I know a few of you will miss having the free CULT shirts this year, but for me it is a huge relief to not be stressing over the details at this time of year. I'm not worried about missing a flight and not picking up the boxes in time; I'm not worried about renting a truck, meeting up with sponsors, missed spelling errors, or anything else. I'm just looking forward to a good week with friends, and maybe a few nice surprises from the team at IBM.

may not have done that last year either - time flies).
It will be a fantastic week I'm sure my comfort comes from how quickly the week
will pass and knowing that I will make the best of UKLUG this year.
Hope the weather is as good as the company!
