OpenNTF - Grass Roots Notes Development

So I'm writing this to respond to two questions that have been brought to me of late. First, is "Why didn't you use the OpenNTF blog template?", to which I normally give two answers. The first is that I wanted to write my own as a learning experience -- as you'll see in the new few days or weeks when I roll out version two of the template with a radically different U.I. The second answer is another matter for another time.
Let me be clear though, that I think the idea, and in practice some of the work turned out by OpenNTF is outstanding. Many users really like their mail template, and the blogware is well known and used. So, if you're looking for cool code, go check out their site -- don't take the idea that I'm not using it as some kind of indication that you shouldn't. The truth is, mine doesn't do anything theirs doesn't do -- and if I'd used theirs, I'd have been yammering on weeks earlier.

This is not quite a scam because it's technically legal, but it's run very much like a scam. This company works with a few "clients" that have vast repositories of copyrighted images.
