It is time for all the dyslexic workers of the world to untie, the misspellers of the word brake the bounds of oppression, and for the masses to seize control of industry in the name of mediocrity for all! That's right people, from those who can to those who need.
As to the anarchists -- I have no idea at all why they would pick May Day as a day to celebrate. I find it incredibly funny that there is a "They" to even talk about with anarchists. How, exactly, can true anarchists organize? How did they end up with a flag and symbols? Who's house do they meet in, and is there a schedule? Is someone picked each week to bake the pot brownies and make the cool-aid? These things fascinate me.
May Day is a time to remember the great leveling -- done through siphoning the energy from those who have it and giving it unearned to those who need it. Minus friction of course. Economic friction is graft and waste, but it works just like in physics. If you assume no new energy can enter a system, then moving energy around repeatedly will ultimately end in entropy as friction dissipates energy as waste heat. Economics works the same way. Sorry.
By the way, one of the funniest spray painted bits of graffiti I ever remember seeing is one I noticed when I was in high school. I no longer remember where I saw it first -- I do remember that those who understood the humor were fewer in number than those who thought I was insane. That is probably still true. Here's what it looked like....
