Today was one of those days Mainers wait for all through February and March - often standing by the door of their trailers holding lawn chairs and staring out at the snow in anticipation. About 70 degrees, partly cloudy, low humidity and a nice breeze made for a perfect day to work on the yard and get ready for summer. I finished Barb's raised garden and brought in a cubic yard of compost to fill it. Of course, since I can't back the trailer (of course I have a trailer, I live in Maine) back there where the pool is, I had to shovel that yard of compost twice. Once into a wheel barrow and once back out.
I also got a brief chance to show off a key new part of my "SecondSignal" system. On Friday I finished the first public beta of the PC based listener client. You can see a picture of it and explanation here. The SecondSignal website isn't up yet so I put the page on my NCT company site. Response to this system has been incredible. I hope to be able to start accepting customers within the next 30 days.
