Theory confirmed -- there is indeed a detectable, tangible link between Gab and Tim Davis which prevents them being separated.
By Andrew Pollack on 07/27/2005 at 11:49 AM EDTIts long been rumored that Gab and Tim cannot remain separated for any great length of time. The reason for that is now a bit closer as we have found a device which can clearly detect and be impacted by that very link. This is 100% true.
While on our road trip, we all stopped at the Hoover Dam. Gab and Tim waited in the visitor center while Rocky and I took our kids through the tour. On attempting to go back to the cars, we attempted to have Tim go get his while Gab came to our van to grab some ice water bottles from the cooler. As the cars were on different levels, this required Tim remain in the elevator while Gab left with us. On my life I tell you that the elevator door would not close with Gab on one side and Tim on the other. The door acted as if a person were standing between the doors. Now, understand this is a pretty new visitor center, a modern elevator, and all had been working correctly right up to that moment. Though we tried several times, the door simply would not close with Gab and Tim on opposite sides. Once Gab stepped in, the door closed and the elevator returned to normal operation.
Strange but true.
