Its all about the Magic. MagicDisc (aka MagicISO) is another of those tools you won't be able to live without once you get to know it.
Remember when software used to come on CDROM and later DVDROM disks? Back in the days before you downloaded everything? Well, it still does. Many of the downloaded software you get will be in "ISO" format or one of a dozen or so other "virtual drive" formats. These files are meant to be burned to CD or DVD and then used as a disk in the drive.
MagicISO sits in your system tray and it creates file manager extensions for your right click context menus. Simply right click on any ISO, BIN, etc. disk file and you can mount it as if you'd already burned it to CD or DVD and then dropped it in a drive. Your system will treat the drive as it would any other removable CDROM or DVD disk.
You can go the other way too, creating virtual CD's and DVD's that become portable data storage. Keep virtual copies of your critical installer CD's handy on that big new hard disk and you're never without them.
Go download it and try it out -- MagicISO
