Today we got about 10 inches of perfect snowman snow, on top of 8 fresh inches of dry powdery snow just two days ago. All that went on top of a base of maybe 6 inches of older, icy stuff. The little boy in the picture is our neighbor.
Just in case you've forgotten what it's like to drive in this stuff, take a look at this video, or just click any of the thumbnail pictures to see it larger. The driving was done just as the second storm was getting going, so all the snow you see in it was doubled that night.
* Update 1/2/07 - I've offloaded this video to YouTube as the downloads were eating up my server bandwidth. I guess there are more of you out there reading my random thougths than I'd realized. Hey, how would I know, its not like I count the logs, and you never write.
