Speeding up Notes 8.x Start and Run Time -- Technote Updated for 8.5.1
By Andrew Pollack on 10/12/2009 at 11:50 AM EDTSome time ago, I posted a blog entry on how to make Notes 8.x start up much faster. It has been one of the most popular entries on my site. That technote has now been updated to reflect a change to the location of the jvm.properties file. The file is now located in [notes]\framework\rcp\deploy\ -- it's part of the re-organization and optimization done in the 8.5.1 client and this is a much better place for the file to live.

This is not quite a scam because it's technically legal, but it's run very much like a scam. This company works with a few "clients" that have vast repositories of copyrighted images.
