Why can't my whole PC replicate?
By Andrew Pollack on 08/22/2004 at 12:21 PM EDTWhy is it that My laptop is never quite in sync? I use it less frequently than my PC for the simple reason that my PC is way way faster. I recognize the value of having a single laptop with the "oomph" to be your only machine. I know NotesDawg does this, my wife does it as well. I don't want to. What I want is my windows desktop, applications, bookmarks, and settings to replicate as nicely as Notes does. This was the thing I liked most about the idea of a "network PC" when that was the hot ticket.

This is not quite a scam because it's technically legal, but it's run very much like a scam. This company works with a few "clients" that have vast repositories of copyrighted images.
