Who cares? Are they trying to re-create the seventh grade?

I know what you mean, Andrew. It's shockingly bad.
What I particularly hate are the never-ending streams of "xyz has installed an
application" and "xyz has uninstalled an application".
I don't care. Facebook throws away valuable goodwill by keeping me too
informed, and not allowing me to filter notifications appropriately.
I'm persevering for the moment, but unless they provide decent filtering...

LOL.. funny how different stokes for different folks. That stream of info is
what I love about Facebook. Anyway, you can easily change it, just click
Preference on your newstream, and move all the slides (cool UI) to the bottom.
