FX's RESCUE-ME starts up again tonight
By Andrew Pollack on 06/21/2005 at 12:44 PM EDTRescue-Me! Starts again tonight on the FX network. The show stars Dennis Leary as a New York truckie (firefighter assigned to a ladder company) dealing with the issues related to 911, a drinking problem, and an overdeveloped sense of sarcasm.
It is one of the funniest shows on TV, and is also a great look at the real world of professional firefighters. The fire scenes are reasonably accurate and do convey the right sense of confusion and effort.
