The shirts are done (for me). The Fulton's dinner is done. The Jumpstart Security sessions are done (4 hours of talking) are done. Now I can have some fun!
If you're one of the six people who read my blog, come up and tell me so during the week. Don't be shy, I love to meet the people who read my rants.
Bob Picciano - the new man running the show for Lotus - is poised to do some fantastic work. I'll blog more later because some of it should wait until after the OGS. For now, let me say that he's a Notes guy, he's a brilliant individual, and he's a nice guy all around. I had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with him at the Fulton's dinner and came away extremely impressed. He shared with me some personal insights into software development and all I can say is that I agree with him completely. Its always impressive to meet these top IBM business line people who are also extremely skilled technical people. Talking with Bob Picciano about writing software is like getting beat at chess by Michael Jordan. He's better at it than you, and that's not even his real game.
The Jumpstarts that Gab and I did wen't really well. We didn't run too long (though it was quite a pitched battle to avoid it) and we managed to pretty nearly fill the room both times. No one was injured during the session.
I'm off to the party for some food, see ya!
