The plan for Martha Steward Living is obvious --

Obviously a company like Martha's will continue without its founder. They'll rename themselves -- probably to just "Living" or "American Living" or maybe "Glorious Patriotic and Entirely Above Board Living"; and find a new face for the cover. Maybe several faces.
A company that cannot survive the loss of its founder does not deserve investment dollars. (IMO, this should worry Microsoft investors, since while they can clearly get by without Bill; I doubt the transition will be smooth from a stock perspective).
