Hi all. I've been posed this question a number of times in my career -- the cost of having someone on a short leash. A support contract with a minimum time service level agreement. What is this worth? I've got a few right now, and there is an expectation that I'll be available on a 7x24 basis for problems with a daytime 1 hour response time and an off-time 4 hour response time. Not only that, but within 4 hours of response, the SLA demands that a plan for resolution be presented (if not implemented).
How much would any of you charge to wear that pager all the time -- weekends, holidays, vacations?
