The addition of a Zalman CPU cooler (A replacement for the stock Intel heatsink and fan that came with this cpu) changed my new hotrod PC from a noisy server room candidate to a silent and well behaved desktop denizen. Silence is golden, or in this case copper.
Admittedly this thing takes up a lot of space -- I wasn't sure it would fit in this small case, but it does. I have almost 3 millimeters to spare before it's fins would make contact with the power supply. The 92mm fan which uses the fins themselves as a shroud runs cooler and quieter than the smaller but brutish version supplied by intel.
