Crack found in space shuttle tank
By Andrew Pollack on 04/06/2005 at 11:15 PM EDTI didn't have a lot of time to read this, but I came across a Google News headline titled "Crack Found in Shuttle Tank". Now, I'm sure I'll have more time to go back and read this, but in the mean time I must say that I'm very angry. The very last thing needed up there is Crack! Hell, were all those fires on the Mir space station caused by people who were so baked they couldn't light their own crack pipes? For the billions of dollars we've spent on the International Space Station, you'd think we'd come away with something more than "Dark Star". You can't even use Crack for rocket fuel. It doesn't blow up. Meth, sure -- but not Crack. What are these guys smoking? Well, I guess we know.
