Cumberland Fire Academy Week - Today I'm out teaching all day.
By Andrew Pollack on 08/02/2006 at 09:47 AM EDTSome of you may remember me talking about Last year's academy, where we take a group of kids involved in the "Explorers" program through a 5 day live-in program at the fire stations. This year I'm doing a little more to help, and I've signed up to run the "Drive Up Scenarios" day. This is the day we run them through everything they've learned. There are five groups of kids, so we run five scenarios (called evolutions) so that each group tries a hand at each job.
Today is also the hottest day of the year with thunderstorms expected so safety and hydration will be of concern. Running around in turnout gear and carrying air packs is going to be a challenge today. I'll let you know how it went.

This is not quite a scam because it's technically legal, but it's run very much like a scam. This company works with a few "clients" that have vast repositories of copyrighted images.
