Do you "Skype" ? I do now. What a wonderful way to waste time!

Skype ( http://www.skype.com ) lets you use your speakers and microphone (assuming you have one) on your PC or laptop (most laptops have them built in) to have a real telephone like conversation with another Skype user. You use a contact list just like AOL instant messenger, and it makes cute phone rining noises and such.
Most important, it has settings other than just here or not available. You can have a "do not disturb" or a "skype me" (a bit like walking around with a pork chop tied to your neck so the dog will play).
Anyway, lots of geeks have used this for a long time, but I've never gotten around to it. So, well, here's ringing endorsement. Its easy to use, sound quality is fabulous.

This is not quite a scam because it's technically legal, but it's run very much like a scam. This company works with a few "clients" that have vast repositories of copyrighted images.
